Misha

Oil paintings in free representation in a search for harmony between being and nature. Misha provokes in her portraits the testimony of time passing. Alternately in a warrior posture or in weightlessness, these represented characters keep their distance and their mysteries.

Originally from Drôme in France, a nomadic artist having lived 25 years between Europe, Africa and Asia, her work has been enriched over the course of her career, inspired by these cultures and nourished by multiple encounters. Contemplative faces, her portraits of a dignified presence no longer recognize themselves in the mirror-reflection of this world which calls for more spirituality.

Misha is the winner of one of the Taylor Foundation’s 2020 Grand Prizes for Painting (prize Joël Dabin) and exhibits in France and abroad.
